Horton Hears a Who, Religious?
I went and saw this movie opening day. I was really excited to see a more modern interpretation of this badass story.
First Thing I noticed was the flawless animation. It was really amazing.
One of the things that made this movie so funny and enjoyable are the characters and cast. The Voice of Horton, played by Jim Carrey is most notable. I havent heard him do such outrageous Fun Voices since ace ventura pet detective.
Now, for the story. it was a relatively short movie. 88 min runtime. The coolest thing i found out about this movie is that while watching it, i noticed that god was kind of forbidden in this story as the kangaroo (Carol Burnett) said, she doesnt believe any anything she cant hear, see, smell, or feel. after this i couldnt help notice all the religion and/or anti religion references, or inuendo's

People these daze
So , im getting really sick of listening to people talk about things they know nothing about. this is a dumb thing to get pissed off about i guess, but it really fucking bothered me.
issue #1- Crystal Castles is one of the most original bands out right now, and i like them, however i dont like it when stupid people like the same bands i like. shallow.
Issue #2- i'm sure she heard them on myspace.
Issue #3- This bitch was talking about music as if she knew what was up.
Sophie "I'm in a band, have any of you guys heard crystal castles?" i kept quiet "well my bands a lot like them but we only have two people, its totally like them cause we use a synthesizer" Stupid bitch doesnt even know cc implants 8-bit soundcards from old school NES into all their instruments.
clumsy bitch doesnt even know real designers, juicy is lame.

Evangelicals
After listening to this album's advance numerous times, i cant believe this has only been out for about a month. I have memories triggered by these guys, and its only been a fucking month. wow.
the best song is "Bellawood" if you haven't checked these guys out yet, you're in the dark.
these spacious soundscapes, odd sound clips equal out to be a sonic version of LSD.
i wish i was on acid.
psychedelic indie rock? lookout Ziggy Stardust, this is a keeper.
oh and on another note, i see these kids trying to get into brian jonestowne massacre, thats like discovering the beatles today....
